Cardinals home opener against their friendly arch rivals, the Chicago Cubs. Nearly
50,000 fevered fans attired head to toe in Cardinal red or Cubbie blue. A beautiful
sight for any baseball fan.

And what better festive atmosphere to promote Live Nation concerts?! And so we did.
Despite gray skies and hit-and-miss rain, our AAG ambassadors met a lot of happy
folks who were obviously very excited to get the word about Live Nation's upcoming
concert lineup: Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts, Toby
Keith and Jason Aldean, all individual shows, and all at the Verizon Amphitheater.
Oh, yeah, did we mention VAN HALEN! at the Scottrade Center. Definitely, the most
popular of all.

Our ambassadors wasted no time in hitting Kiener Plaza, the bar scene south of the
stadium, and the Hilton Hotel, handing out flyers and spreading the good word.
EVERYONE was receptive and in a good mood--even Cubbie's fans. Go figure.

The great thing about stadium events in that people have to stand in line to get in,
and that means we had a second chance to distribute flyers to all those we missed
the first time around.

Yeah, the Cardinals lost their opener, but Live Nation proved the big winner.

More than 15,000 people took to the streets of St. Louis recently to pound the pavement in the 12th annual Go! St. Louis Marathon. Participants from as far away as Australia tested their running mettle either in the full 26.2 miler, or the 13.1 mile half-marathon.

AAG’s part was easier than running 26 miles though, and a lot fewer blisters, we just needed to get the word out about St. Louis’ upcoming Rock-n-Rock Marathon slated for October 2012. To do that, four of our ambassadors hit the streets dressed in running attire, one slapping Rock-n-Roll Marathon flyers on every unsuspecting car windshield in their path, while two other ambassadors did hand-to-hand distribution within a three block radius of the finish line.

All the runners were excited to hear about the R-n-R Marathon, especially the
$10-off coupon for entering online.

Thousands of happy, tired runners, and thousands of favorable impressions.

ROCK AND ROLL WILL NEVER DIE!

Hyper targeting.

How niche can we get?

When comedian Gabriel Iglesias rolled out his Stand Up Revolution Tour and comedian Wanda Sykes Live Tour at the Peabody Opera House, Ayden Activation brand ambassadors teamed with Live Nation developing a game plan to intensely concentrate on the Latino, gay and lesbian communities–a small and tightly knit enclave in the St. Louis metro area.

Ayden Activation Group street ambassadors covered the alternative lifestyle nightlife scene and comedy clubs, distributing 10,000 event cards, 150 posters and engaging club goers hand to hand–inside and outside clubs.

Lot of good word of mouth, and a great show!

Your lame system won’t do the job. That was the message we were charged with when the 25th Annual Royal Rumble rolled into town at the Scottrade Center January 29, 2012. But first, jump back to the previous day and let’s get the juices flowing and turn up the hype machine with the unflagging energy of 7 AAG ambassadors, 2 illuminating billboards, and a freaky meet-and-greet autograph and photo op session with WWE’s Kofi Kingston at a local Best Buy with hundreds of his fans. Sponsored by…who else? Charter. Count ‘em, 15,000 promos were distributed to the wanting public, encouraging their subscription to Charter’s pay-per-view so they could witness firsthand the Elimination Chambers and Royal Rumble. The buzz was high, the place was screaming! Kingston took photos, signed autographs, grunted (a lot of grunting), and everyone was thrilled to learn about Charter’s decent pricing and picture perfect service. People actually chanted “Charter is #1!” We kid you not.

Been Done. How about by 2 mobile backpack billboards and flyers? Sounded good. We LOVE fliers. Two of our ambassadors hit the downtown Canton shopping district and Westfield Belden Village on Black Friday weekend (Yikes!) flashing the backpack billboard message “We’re Hiring…” and handing out flyers and, of course, chatting up the shoppers. Cars stopped, people joyfully engaged, flyers disappeared. Success! Over 60,000 impressions generated in three days. Guess what?

Video projection is the perfect medium for grabbing the spotlight and it is effective at getting the attention your message deserves. For the AFSCME campaign, Ayden Activation Group launched a multi-city campaign using video projection in Lansing, MI / Cleveland, OH / Cincinnati OH / Columbus, OH and
Bloomington, IN. AAG used a high powered video projector at strategically selected high-traffic locations filled with residents going to bars, restaurants, nightclubs and ball games. AAG projected a video off selected buildings and this created a huge buzz. Pedestrians couldn’t help but to stop and observe the video and also to inquire about what was going on.

For three years running AAG has served as the official marketing noise maker of the Grand Center First Night celebration—an alcohol-free visual and performing arts New Year’s Eve family party which comes to life under the neon of glow of midtown’s revitalized theater district. Seven-hundred-and-fifty party-promoting posters were plastered (too many P’s?) ALL OVER the theater district by a savvy contingency of AAG street team ambassadors announcing the event. Much to the delight of those who saw the announcement notices, joined the celebration, and then told their friends, it was a HUGE hit. Buzz, buzz, buzz.
